“Oh is that a threat?” He quips back, unable to keep the toothy grin from spreading on his face even if his eyes are still closed, even as he’s burying his face into her lap as she tickles his sensors along his ear, the flaring in his head so sudden and bright nearly drowning out her words. But her hand flattens out the braids she’s been making in his longer hair and he relaxes a bit more, pressing his cheek against her thigh.
He hums in consideration as she questions his demon hunting abilities, as if he’s thinking about it for quite some time before he nods and just presses his face into her lap even more. “Oh, I could absolutely take some demons.” To this, despite his scans running, he does tilt his head up toward her, opening his gaze just enough to toss her a wink before he settles in again. “Okay, lets see how this goes.”
