Maeve
Maeve has had a few different quests now and truthfully, none of them had been all that difficult aside from her most recent one, but perhaps she's simply used to having to struggle for what is given to her that running a few errands seems small in comparison. "It would have been worth it. Especially knowing how it feels to have a bond like this? I would do it again in a heartbeat." She says softly, a small smile curling on her lips at the sudden pulse of love and adoration that floated along their bond, warming her to the bone.
At the mention of being a Frey girl, she laughs, the sound bright and amused. "Everyone says that. I suppose because I'm a Madame it simply makes sense to think that way?" She huffs, shaking her head, recalling her one meeting with Frey and how poorly that went. "They actually aren't overly fond of me. They said that my nipples weren't pretty enough to interest them." Jade eyes roll in amusement, recalling the conversation and how uncaring the herald had been, but Maeve wasn't all that surprised. She wasn't guaranteed favor with every one of the heralds simply because she was an Accepted. "I, uhm, actually follow Safrin more closely." Maeve chances admitting, turning to face him as she pulls her attention from the wood that he's motioning to.
"We'll try not to keep you too long then." She murmurs, returning his smile with a small one of her own, arms crossing over her chest. "It's for their crib. I- I haven't tried building it myself." And she's been too nervous to ask Locke for the extra help despite the fact that he has willingly offered it. A part of her worried that it's too much .
