Hovering above, as if in nothing more than an easy stroll along the sky, the eagle and peryton surveyed, watched, the scene. They could push, they could cajole, they could rush, and the deer could be blocked on either side, unless the prey was more willing to take a chance on rushing upwards at potentially dangerous slopes and gradients.But he listened as Noah gave forth the command, and he returned the message to both with the depths of images again. East, the Sword remarked, waiting for approval, casting himself in a further glide. Preparation was key, and he’d already spotted several weaker, slower-moving targets.
