Curls are an attractive temptation, and Harper laughs and blows a gust of air against Edmund’s nose, letting feathers form in his hair for the boy to explore. It’s a different energy than the one he can feel from Maeve but the change isn’t difficult. Maybe watching her son having such a good time is even helpful for her state of mind.
