A Fae's word was binding, or at least had to match their intentions in the moment; Juniper sincerely intended to write such a letter as soon as she concluded her business with Melita. It was for the best, she decided. War might come, but that didn't mean they had to be vindictive, to inflict harm where it wasn't necessary.
