WESSEX
With the declaration that one of her friends is a little clumsy, Wessex smiles a bit and nods in understanding. “Well then best keep them safe, yeah?” She can think of one or two of her own siblings who are a little less than agile. It’s no big shame, just a fact of life for some. She follows Paige once the girl has located a good rock selection and does her best to take a large armful, even utilizing her cloak as a bit of a basket. Loki is no longer interested, but that’s okay. Between the two humans they make decent time. Wessex fills in the spots and adjusts one or two rocks so that they lay smoothly against each other. When she turns around, she is very surprised to find Paige holding out a black shell to her. “Oh,” the General says. “Thank you. I’ve actually never seen a black shell before.” It matches Loki, though, and that makes her smile.
“Don’t worry about Loki, I’ll make sure she gets something extra nice for dinner tonight. You and your friends have fun, now. And safe LongNight.” And as it seems like there isn’t much more to be done, Wessex beckons to her companion and then disappears from the beach.
