I should have spoken with you beforehand." The Nightshade murmurs, swallowing thickly as she dares to look up at her from beneath her lashes, "I was wrong not to do so in the first place." She's quick to amend, having already told Jack that he isn't just getting his ship without a hitch, but she will help him get it. Even if she must attone for her own mistake first.
