But there are mushrooms to collect, and given that Mateo has already expressed his enthusiasm for swamp water, he decides to look at the fringes of the murky depths for mushrooms. "I won't!" he promises Mildew, plodding off towards the edge of the water and crouching down to dig through for mushrooms. "Are they okay to touch?" he calls back.
