His eyes skate up and down once more, searching. Seiji nods, anyway. It is a good idea. He has met Isla once before, and thinks her trustworthy. “Infirmary,” he agrees, and offers an elbow if Kiada should need it.
With a glance at the still-nameless stranger, Seiji gestures up toward the Rathskeller steps. They should be relatively safe taking the stairs up to the temple. It is all enclosed, and should be quiet. They seem to have this tiny luxere, too, which has attached itself to Kiada.
What has she been doing in the dark? Seiji’s head swarms with questions, but he dares not ask them just yet. Instead, he concentrates on steering Kiada toward the stairs, up the stairs, to what he hopes safety.
