Of all the things to burden his heart, that awful things had happened during a time when awful things happened was not one she wanted him to bear. "And the things you could control...well I remember them being wonderful." she said quietly, a small smile curving her lips as she blushed. But at the mention of the gods being angry...she sighed and looked at the ceiling for a few moments. Slowly she looked back down at him, considering what to and not to tell him. "Whenever I lost patients or their babies, I would always spend time sitting vigil with a few candles. I did that for your family, in the sanctuary...and Ludo came and spoke with me." she said quietly.
