Holding out his hand, palm up, the Lullaby bites the inside of his cheek and turns his head over his shoulder and away from Neron. Already his pulse had quickened and he hated the frozen swirl of adrenaline and anticipation that had begun to churn in his stomach ever since Neron closed the door behind them.
