She at least has the decency to feel really guilty; not that she made Sunjata follow her and attack, but because she didn’t immediately disengage. Wessex knew who it was, she knew that if lightning landed, it would hurt him, and she knew he wouldn’t be able to reach her through the bond.
This is her fault (mostly), and she can say again that he doesn’t deserve this.
