Her nose wrinkled, rolling her eyes at him, "Don't be such a drama queen." The Queen quipped with a smirk, watching him clean his hands before setting off towards the other side of the pier in search of the cat.
The Seer Cat is rather displeased at being grabbed and it lets them know. Yowling and squirming and swiping at Adam as it tried in vein to get out of his grasp. Maeve ducked under the pier, jogging towards Adam and the cat, grabbing the box she'd brought with her. There were holds in the top so the thing could breathe. Maeve took the top off, grimacing as she attempted to get the cat into the crate without losing an eye, but they somehow managed. The Nightshade latched it closed and let out a breath. "That thing is going to be a bitch to take care of." She huffed, straightening up and pushing her hair from her face.
She turned her gaze to him then, seeming to become serious as she regarded her friend, a sick feeling settling in the pit of her stomach. "Adam... Have you, uh, thought about the war at all?"
