After talking with Sunjata, Maeve is fairly certain the goddess already knew what he was, but she hadn't turned him away yet. The Nightshade feels it in her gut that her goddess will continue to welcome her son with open arms. Why wouldn't she? Maeve uses her free hand to cup his cheek, thumb brushing across the smooth skin there, head cocking to the side as she regards him.

Maeve reassures him, leaning forward to press a kiss to his forehead, drawing him in to a tight hug afterwards. "Do you want to follow Safrin?"
