"I see." Alex raises a brow at his speedy defense, wondering if it's for himself or his goddess. Probably a mix. Still, the pirate hadn't heard of Safrin's generosity before, it was certainly something to consider. Generosity deserved equal return though, and Alex wasn't sure if she was ready to straight up swear herself to a god.
When their food arrives, Alex can't help but grin with excitement. She loves food, sue her. Digging in happily, she nods as Jack lists off the local shrines, mentally mapping them out. The food is demolished in a concerningly short period of time, finished with a thrown back swing of rum.
Slamming her glass back down on the table, the pirate stands up. "Thanks for the advice, Jack, and the company." She eyes the sun's position for a moment. "I best be off to that shrine, so I don't miss my send-off time. Hope I don't see you around." With one last wink, the pirate settles their tab and heads off to visit the Gods.
