"I am so very and truly sorry." He said at least, tears shimmering in his eyes at the thought of the marriage proposal told only to whatever monster had taken this man. Squeezing his hands together, Remi glanced over his shoulder. "I am sorry to have intruded. I will leave you be, but please. Find me out when you have decided. I will make whatever it is you like."
