He uses the moment to surge against her again, nipping at her own bottom lip before he trails his kisses to her jaw and her neck, spying a scarred over bite from an Ascended – one he doesn’t recognize, but with the intimacy of it he imagines it has to be Nate’s – and he paves his path down toward it, little kisses and nips along the way until he’s there, fingers clutched into her hair and along her hip now, he pins her to him and presses a soft, delicate kiss over the scar, before he latches onto it with blunt teeth, enough right now to leave a little red mark behind, but unsure if he should go about marking her as he once had.
