Luckily, the Flood has some experience in fire protection. If nothing else, Korofi’s floods and the amount it rained certainly helped to curb some fires that would have spread through the city. So he puts that to mind and helps create a little protective, damp circle around Aurelia so he might be able to focus his magic elsewhere. He loses the concentration of his magic, letting it fall to the ashy, black ground at his feet – reaching up to wipe the sweat from his brow and to catch his breath when he looks over just after Aurelia’s voice is audible in the air between them. He notices the flames further down and he rolls his eyes, gritting his teeth as he goes to follow her. “I hate these things.” He comments quietly, wondering if they kept it up if his resolve would fail and he’d rather them just burn themselves out.

For now, though, he’s quick after her, summoning that water again and works to make a circle to hopefully drown the little fuckers within it to keep them from moving around anymore.
