Melita was no stranger to hunting – and though bold, audacious, and wild, she also knew better than to go alone (as tempting as it was, and as many times as she’d done it regardless). So on an afterthought, threads of amusement, and a promise of seeing a dragon companion once she had fulfilled her quest, the youth sent a note of invitation to Sah. Uncertain if he’d ever seen either ramphire or the famed lizards, she figured it might suit his inquiring mind.
Armed to the teeth, bow and quiver over her shoulder, the firebrand waited along the edges of the jungle, tending to the rest of her supplies in her bag. Fangorn bobbed up and down, vines waving in either impatience or excitement, while she ruffled through the containers, finding bandages (just in case), canteens, and any necessary snacks for the task. Otherwise, once Sah arrived, they’d be good to go, further and further into the viney proportions.
