Sah quickly committed the description to memory, eyes going to scan their surrounding for any evidence or trace of the creatures' presence. "Horned bird-deer. Got it." It was a rather mis-matched image that appeared in his head and the Outlander wondered just how far off the mark he was. Ramphires were likely an interesting sight, and he couldn't' help but be curious to find out.
The Abandoned listened as his friend expanded upon her description. He was pleased to hear that she intended to use every bit of the beast. The hunter had been planning on it already, but it was nice to hear that Melita shared his mentality on the matter. The taste description perked up both Sah and Lilly. "Sounds good."
As they walked, Sah's eyes narrowed in on a small cluster of plants as they moved away from the coast. Walking over silently, he bent down and inspected the spot. The trotted-on fern had been what had drawn him over, and sure enough there were scuffmarks in the sand. The Halo hunter didn't recognize them and gestured Melita over, "Do you know what left these? We don't have them in Halo." They might or might not be ramphire but Sah was still curious.
