Nikolai feels a little self-conscious with how intently the squirrels seem to be paying attention to him. It almost gives him the impression that they are judging his choices with their tiny brains. He wonders if they think him worthy of their treasure. They're brains might just be full of nuts and bolts though.
Still, the young Ascended eyes the glasses for a moment, turning them over in his hand. Taking the sleeve of his jacket, he gently wipes the dirt and grim from the lenses. Once they seem clean enough to wear, he puts them on. Blinking as his eyes adjust, he scans the area around him, wondering if these are normal glasses or something more.
Nikolai puts on the glasses and looks around.
