Amun poked at the wounds that he had zero recollection of receiving. They didn't hurt, obviously, but he took in a sharp breath as he realized he couldn't remember what had caused them. However, as the hedges started to press in behind him, he turned to glare at them.
They were blocking Zhanshi too, but the little landshark just dove a little deeper underground to bypass them and follow in the potter's footsteps. For the Ascended's part, he briefly toyed with hacking through the bushes that were attempting to herd him. However, given that time was short, he turned to follow the path that was open before him.
As he did, he took in another deep breath. Then he called out ahead of him, cupping his free hand around his mouth to try and direct the sound. "If this is some kind of trick, well done, but I'd rather sit down and chat."
