Ronin doesn't check in on the Dragon's Nest nearly as often as he ought to, and so since he's taken it upon himself to visit, he's invested. Having checked in with various dragoons, he proceeds to take stock of the barracks, the defences, the weapon and armour stores, the state of the dragons and so on. They'd committed to working on their defences, after all, and he has no intention of not doing his part.
Having headed out into the training grounds, now Ronin is testing out the equipment on the obstacle courses, checking the strength of ropes and bridges and ladders and so on. It's a sunny afternoon in the dying days of Longheat, and so sweat jewels his brow as he moves. It's a good workout, though, and sometimes it's nice to just go back to basics like this.
