As always, news of a merperson spread through Haulani. Pihu had been perched on a rooftop overlooking the market, but when the gossip reached her ears, she took flight. Wings beating against the Leafchange air, she circled the canals from above until her eyes spotted a commotion below. The merman was impossible to miss, nor was the small crowd surreptitiously trying to pretend it wasn't staring at him.
