It's unclear if the alchemist would have lingered, would have offered Chaele a ride home, would have tried to draw out the encounter had Ronin not been present. And then, in a strange tableau wherein Ronin would seem to collapse beneath the Lullaby's palms followed quickly by his partner, the pair would disappear before they ever hit the ground, whisked away into a dream.
