Honestly, it's all a bit of a mess, but that isn't so surprising when you're in a confined space with three tar-creature spirits and a lot of furniture. The spirit that Amun has trapped doesn't manage to free itself, and it screeches pitifully up at him, as if to say but whyyyy? Weird little thing.
Maeve and the spirit she's aiming for exchange a series of not-quites, and neither comes away doing any damage to the other. As for Melita, her electrial arrow strikes true, whittling away more of the strange 'life' that animates the creatures.
Beneath your feet, however, the house begins to tremor, and the group will all feel some of their energy sap away. Uh oh.
