"Mhm. Well. Better safe than sorry." Her face relaxed, and focus was returned to the task at hand. Or at least she tried to focus, but his antics kept throwing her off. The implication that she had ever been sweet tempered earned Amun a look of incredulity. "Is that what you prefer? Leashes, trackers and meekness... I'm starting to question your intentions for me, brother dearest."
Fortunately they had work to do, and Maea could finally take action when the incredible sound from the room within died down. Teleporting herself back inside, she was greeted by scattered papers and a multitude of wasps that lay twitching and buzzing all across the floor. Most of them, anyway. Perhaps they were somewhat resistant to the light, because a few still struggled around in a dazed sort of way. Those she dispatched with a few zaps from her palm.
Then she turned towards Amun with a puzzled frown. "Are you alright? Why in Caido's name did you put your head in, too? A hand would have been enough, wouldn't it?" Shaking her head, she began to sweep up the stunned and dying wasps.
