Perhaps he should have picked a better time than now to start this, but given that he can feel things ramping up and how he hasn’t really officially done much when it comes to his position in the Grounds, he figures now is as good a time as any. Of course, the snow outside makes materials a bit difficult to come by, but that doesn’t mean that he’s not going to at least try.
Because truthfully, it’s to make a little office space for himself similar to Wessex’s own in the Military Barracks. A space that he can go to rather than people stumbling upon him when they need him or heading to the Infirmary to speak with Isla in order to reach him. This simply makes things that much easier and the Captain wants nothing more than that with how complicated everything else has become.
So he sets up the notice board post, asking for people to meet him in the military barracks for some help on making himself an office space. And with the materials gathered nearby, he waits, walking around the little pile of lumbar and buckets of hardware brought in to make the job that much easier.
