Maea focused on her own task once she got out into the woods. The going was slow as Frost still favored one paw, but the dogs sharp nose did enough work that they soon came upon a large flock of the wayward sheep. A brief count suggested there were about twelve animals all in all, ewes and lambs both, but no sign of the rams yet. Knowing she had plenty more to find, the girl set the dog to work with rounding up the hungry and bedraggled animals, and once the flock was under control she pressed on, hoping to find some more.
