Again, her eyebrows raise in skepticism, if only because the threat of a bad fate seems rather vague, but the way in which he utters the threat (is it a threat yet?) is quite serious. He has her attention. And then Wessex is visibly confused, because of course, she’s talked to Neron. He told her there’s no proof. No one had been there but himself and Morgan, and with the Glacier dead and burned… she has to challenge the accusation. “You know this? For sure? You’ve spoken to Neron? Have a confession?” The General couldn’t stand in the way of solid proof. But without it… and without a clear motivation, everything is worth challenging.
