Anju
Here she is again in King's End. Her adventuring days doing Ludo's bidding are behind her, but the mark has been left now. A woman who once had never left home now finds herself venturing out into the world far more often. Stormbreak is too quiet now. Dead in a way that is too fitting given how many lives were lost in the Ascended attack. Anju cannot bear the silence, and so it is that she finds herself exploring the lands beyond. King's End, mostly, because it is the closest.
Riya flies ahead, trilling some made-up song that scares any prey away. Anju would like to run too, but alas, their souls are tied forever. Riya's amusement makes it clear she felt that particular sentiment, and Anju rolls her eyes, allowing a brief smile of fondness.
She becomes alert a moment later when Riya spots something, sparking seriousness down the bond. Refocusing, the Dragoon lays a hand on the hilt of her sword, picking up the pace as her dragon disappears from sight. Ahead, Riya swans down towards the other woman with a cheerful noise of greeting, flying loose circles around both woman and fire. Anju emerges seconds later, shoulders tense and grimace apologetic. "Apologies, she believes everyone to be a friend-in-waiting." Riya trills unapologetically, clearly agreeing despite the implications in her bonded's words.
