“Your eagerness is what encourages her to keep being so ill-mannered,” Anju remarks dryly, but it’s tempered by the amused twist of her full but severe mouth. Riya ignores her entirely, as was her way, and lands near the woman so she might trot like a huge dog at her side. Long draconic neck gracefully (needily) arched in hopes of pets or scratches upon her scales.
Anju lingers a little further away in contrast. Not unfriendly, but certainly socially awkward. “Yes it has been pleasant enough so far. Are you…cooking teeth?” she ventured uncertainly, extremely confused and showing it. At the confirmation that follows she moves closer and pulls a roll of leather from her bag to offer to Alex. “Here, put them in here. It’s a scrap of rockslider hide, the teeth won’t burn through it and you can roll it up immediately.” And she has plenty of it back home. Holding it out horizontally for Alex to put the teeth on due to lack of a flat surface, Anju wraps them up and ties them with the leather drawstring, and then holds them out to the stranger. “There. Let me escort you out - Riya will complain all night if I cut our meeting short.” Loudly, too. Most days Anju wonders if the dragon is intent on making friends, or forcing Anju to.
