Steeling herself and girding her bravado for a mad dash across open territory, Wessex vaults over her makeshift cover and starts sprinting towards the other side, carelessly putting certain death out of her mind. Either it’ll bring out the dragons, or it won’t, and she’ll eventually be someplace new. That's it. That's all she can allow herself to think about.
