The vines and branches begin to tug toward the Pegasus while the Flood does his best to keep his wings tucked in tight to prevent any damage happening to them. Luckily for him, the branches begin to wind around his chest and front legs, slowly beginning to tighten and trap him as the bait begins to work in the way he had hoped it would.
With Alexander wasting little to no time hacking into the branch, the sap begins to seep from the cuts made into the bark, allowing time for Nikolai to slip in and zap and collect its slow trickle into the jar brought with them. But in an attempt to not have to do this again, the jar is relatively large, and with it Sunjata braces himself for being trapped in as bait just a bit longer than he had originally intended in the hopes they might collect more than they need in case anything happens.
He can’t talk to them in this form, but he does toss his head, craning it slightly over his back and wings to peer at Nikolai with a dark steel eye, waiting for the go ahead to say he’s collected enough that Sunjata can shift into his smallest form and slip out of the branches before they aim to trap him there forever.
Alexander has made a good cut to collect the sap from it! Nikolai should have good access to collect a jars worth of the sap. Sunjata'll stay trapped until Nikolai thinks enough has been collected <3
