Her full lips twist wryly, understanding plain on her face for the redhead to read. But she has no need for their bodies at this time, and the Valkyrie only ever hunts predators and monsters for sport.
“No, I don’t need anything for today. The Greatwood is plentiful in spring.” And with so few within her borders, Ru can hunt whatever she wants, whenever she desires. I’ll come visit you soon for longer, okay?” A maternal hand rises to gently smooth Melita’s hair back, pressing a warm kiss to the young woman’s temple. Goodbyes are still hard these days with the war so close at hand, but they both have other plans for their day.
