"Oh. Oh, right," Finn says, because he can understand that parallel, even though he doesn't think he has ever fallen asleep in his office because he drank too much and turned into a dog. (He'd think that would be silly, if it hadn't just literally happened to Tobi). Swallowing hard, he glances beyond their hands to the bed as she suggests he sit down. Finn doesn't like to use the bed as living room furniture, but they are already having tea on it, he supposes, sinking down to sit with her.
However difficult a road it has been, though, there has been progress, because Finn doesn't flinch away or hesitate to lean into her arms as she opens them out for him. "I..." Gods, why can't he just say things? "Are you sure?" he whispers, because it's the closest he can get to saying he isn't sure he believes her without maybe actually starting their First Fight.
"What were you talking about? With Ronin?" he wonders instead, because somehow that's easier to talk about.
