He might’ve worn the ground away with his constant walking, pacing, and striding, ceasing movement to assist in the ample opportunities for lines to be redirected, for shops to take shape, for buildings to finally become more than bare skeletons. Some nostalgic sense of the years spent in the Hollowed Grounds contorted around in his mind – wondering, in some way, shape, or form, if this had been how they’d all started hundred years before too – simply trying to make it out alive.
