Stretching out his arms so that his fingers could push past the bottom of Ronin's shirt, Remi smoothes his palms against his husband's lower back so that his emotions might say all the things his words had clearly failed to.

What poured from the Lullaby was complete darkness, prepped and quivering at the chance to devour and destroy. All that held back the unfathomable waves of violence was a single point of light; a dazzle that could not be doused. "I..."
