"Let me make something clear to you, as clearly you don't seem to understand the concept of a fucking oath, despite what you claim. It doesn't matter if Safrin decides I'm worthless. I'm hers to use. That's it. End of story." Short of her betraying him or ordering him to attack his own family, there was nothing he wouldn't do for the goddess. Insinuating that he would defy that oath was downright insulting. The Abandoned took loyalty more seriously than most.

The two Wardens of Halo are an Abandoned and an Abandoned hybrid respectively. And Vi's own damn demi-god who lives in Halo has no problem with it."
