Having spread the word through Torchline that she was arranging a casual afternoon of games, drinks and snacks, she expected quite a good turnout. Hosting it near the ocean and the subsequent canals meant that the merfolk could join in, and the promise of snacks and drinks would hopefully coax out those who weren't super keen on playing. If all else failed, she wasn't above corrallinga few NPCs the locals into playing; it was amazing how easy it was to get people to do something for you if you smiled at them and refused to take no for an answer.
