But then none of that matters, because Enzo appears as if he'd never been gone, and the botanist allows himself a small, dimpled smile to see his brother swan in like he's late to a party. And he's right - he's dead and he has earned it, and so Mateo steps forward to drop down on Remi's side, joining in the offered hug.
"I hope you are causing trouble over there," he murmurs fondly.
