Unable to do much more than jig-jog given how absolutely shit the footing was, nevertheless the mare carefully picked her way through the groping branches and patches of quicksand.
Bleating stupidly, the young unicorn's eyes rolled back into its skull at the site of the rats, causing it to sink even faster.
