Harper
Harper can't help but grin at the outrageous face Mittens makes, though it immediately turns sheepish at Lena's gentle teasing. Probably the most gentle he has ever faced; she's a strange marshmallow type of person. He loves it. "I can't promise the crow-brain won't make me want to nest again, but I can promise not to shift into a bird when I'm already on a skyboat." Winking, he sets his painting aside to retrieve his vial, waving away her offer.
"Don't worry about it! If you want, go tell the barista what you'd like and have them add it to my order while I do this. I'll just take another of what I already ordered. Divide and conquer!" With a jaunty salute, Harper turns and strides out to the puddle, kneeling down shamelessly to dip the vial in the puddle directly where the sunlight reflects in it. Of course, once it's retrieved it looks like normal puddle water, but he corks it confidently just the same. Tucking it away lest Mittens try to destroy that piece too, Harper returns and sits down to wait for Lena to return with the drinks, adding a few final touches while the paint is still wet.

I am water - soft enough to offer life
tough enough to drown it away
