Letting the predatory senses of his polar bear take him over, Noah shifted into the massive beast. The elementals wasted no time in changing the world to fit their desires, and Noah growled and grunted with disdain.
Ronin shifted, partially, and went out. Noah grunted and stood on his hind legs. He turned his massive body so that his back was facing the elementals and he looked down at Evie. He wished he could convey words to her over the attuned bond, though it didn't stop him from wordlessly carrying on with his plan. He grabbed the Warden in a literal bear hug to shield her from the sharp shards of ice raining down on them. His thick fur and even thicker layer of muscle and fat were going to protect him nicely, but Evie was more vulnerable to the attacks in the moment than him.
