She simply ignored the parts of the area that she didn't wish to associate with, typically going straight from her shop to the restaurant without even glancing in the other establishments' directions.
On this particular night, Soh stepped out of her favorite such eatery, tucking the change from her meal into the small purse she wore on her belt. She hurried down the busy main street, ducking past street vendors and dodging the milling crowd.
