Well, if Flora was going to be like that, then all the more reason to continue looking, no? His eyes crinkled with mirth as she preened before him, admiring the way the sun caught the curves of her body.
Unlike Flora, George had not made much of a name for himself (except, perhaps in the underbelly of the city), and so it would not have surprised him in the least for her to be completely clueless as to who he was. To his surprise, though, she seemed to at least know something of him, at least by the (butchered) guessing of his name. "You wound me," George said, his face crumpling into a dramatic pout (though his eyes twinkled with mischief all the while). "How could you not know who I am?"
