Though she’d picked up much more of the travelling tongue than she let on, it seemed much more Remi and Mateo’s hting, such that it left Flora feeling a bit like an outsider looking in whenever she spoke it. Though the Doubletake had certainly grown up over the past few seasons, her daddy-issues were a fissure that ran deep into the core of who she was.
”Thanks for bringing those.” Slipping out from behind the bar, Flora opts to take the top crate from her father rather than relieving his tentacles of the one they carried. Just because she was his daughter didn’t make her any less weirded out by the things he could do. ”Can’t run out on opening night! And your gin is the best around!” Was she laying it on thick? Absolutely she was.
