Though if there is a way to defend against it, I am not sure I want to know what it is.
That they have a daughter is a bittersweet counterweight to the one they lost. Flora is certainly no replacement for Aoife and never could she be, but there's a sort of harmony in it that might be lost on Remi in the moment, but that he'll realize later. For now, he's quite content to try and take his husband's advice. Or try to.
