I'll see you - tomorrow? Dinner?" They live so close to each other that it's a frequent proposal, though this time her smile is wan and strained from their not-quite argument. From there she shifts, launching herself in avian form from the top of the climbing wall, her thoughts and feelings shuttered into her own mind.
