Remi concludes, feigning a lackadaisical attitude Isla would immediately know—and feel—to be a lie.
"What is one more." Remi agrees, and though his expression is boyish and playful, his tone has become a good deal sweeter as he reaches for her hand. "You can see it from the outside. If you want to come in...well, you know the price." Grinning, the Lullaby smiles as his magic gently sends the ancient to sleep.
